Mark S Germain Mark has over twenty-five years of experience giving financial advice to  individuals and companies. His career highlights started with the "Big  Eight" accounting firm of Touche Ross and Company, (Deloitte and  Touche, currently). As a Management Consultant, Mark was considered  an experienced professional in Municipal Bond Finance and counseled  clients including the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, The Fallon  Clinic, Haverhill Hospital, The Easter Seal Association and many other  corporate clients. As a financial adviser, Mark has built strategies for  over 45 public corporation executives, educated professionals on all  facets of asset and wealth management; as well as implementing  strategies to help increase wealth, reduce taxes, provide assurance to  families, and increase family wealth. Mark worked as a senior officer in  two High Tech start-up companies with responsibility including World  Wide Field Operations and Chief Financial Officer status. For more  than 17 of the last 25 years he has provided financial guidance on investments, estate planning, insurance protection and ad hoc financial advice.

Mark has helped families reduce transfer tax, assure succession and meet investment targets through personalized financial advice, counsel and implementation. His experience includes, assisting in professional family offices, tax and expense management, design, development and implementation of investment policies. Mark is an adjunct faculty member at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

A relentless tactician, Mark meets with his clients to determine strategy changes, liquidation potential, cash flow requirements, and tax strategy implementation.

Mark stresses to all clients that investment is a slow yet steady art that requires a written policy and adherence to guidelines. Golf and kayaking consume Mark's spare time.

 Eric M. Zachs  |  Managing Member

Eric Zachs Mr. Zachs is a member of Beacon Wealth Management, LLC and is Managing  Partner of Bantry Bay Ventures-China, LLC, a private equity firm that focuses on  investments in China. Eric is the consummate entrepreneur and is Co-Chairman of  Message Center Management, Inc., which owns and manages antennae sites for  the wireless industry. Eric has also been General Partner of Entrust Capital Frontier  Fund, a venture capital fund.  From 1996-2000 he Co-Chaired and was a Founder  of ZipLink, Inc., an internet backbone company listed on NASDAQ.  From 1989-1995  Eric was President and COO of Message Center USA a nationwide paging  company until its sale in 1995 to AirTouch Communications (currently Vodafone).  The transaction was the largest sale of any privately owned paging company.

Eric provides Beacon with a perspective on wealth and the needs of ultra affluent families. Based on his experience with both the private client groups of major investment banks and commercial banks he has keen understanding of how to match wealth strategy needs of affluent families with the services offered by Beacon This perspective allows clients to see firsthand how the implementation of wealth strategies can accomplish the myriad of goals clients set out to accomplish.

Eric is very active in his community. He has been president of the Greater Hartford Jewish Community Center and The Hartford Dispensary and serves on the boards of Hebrew Health Care, the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford and Solomon Schechter Day School.  Eric has been appointed as the Hartford County Chair of ADL’s Connecticut Region.   He graduated from Tufts University and Columbia University School of Law.  He is married, has three children and resides in West Hartford, CT. When his busy schedule permits he works on reducing his golf handicap.
